Where is the Monastery of Nothingness?

“Where is the Monastery of Nothingness?” asked the woman.

The old master glanced up and said, “Where do you think?”

The answer was flat. Flat in the sense that no single word was emphasized. If, for example, the master had replied, “Where do YOU think,” then she may have trudged off thinking about that emphasis for several more years.

But the answer was flat. Not exactly monotone. Just flat. Neutral.
