Knowing and knowing the Living Form of the Moment

Knowing and knowing the Living Form of the Moment

Teacher: Scott Walter, Sensei

The points we are discussing are not only in every one of us, they are in our moments as well. If we consider the moment as a cross section of life’s ongoing momentum, we will have a slice of living current to examine. This slice is one part of a continuum. This cross-sectional view and the continuum it belongs to is our subject when we become aware of life as a continuum and when we become aware our relationship to it.

Our religions and founders of the various faiths have shown a focused emphasis on some aspect or way of being in this continuum. These beings share their Knowing of the current moment and the continuum, drawing attention to particular values and ways of interacting. The cross section, or moment, is dimensional and becomes Known when beings in their states of Knowing share their Knowings. These Knowings are not the outward knowings. These are the inward Knowings of the more Inward Knowns.

Outward knowings are matter based. Inward Knowings are Inward based and the Inward is more core to the current than even the inward. The inward can be experienced by anyone moving even one step inwardly in the moment. The Inward is a state of dwelling where the values are known to be supporting the more Inward Known. This Known can be experienced in the current moment and we can Know it spiritually or we might only know it intellectually.

So, when we consider Adam and Jesus as we have discussed, we can know about it or we can Know about it. Our religious versions contain unknowns, knowings and Knowings. This is true of all understandings.

If we Know the moment, it is easy to see the values and reasons at work in the actual moment. If we only know about the values of particular matters, it is much harder to know the more inclusive living forms. The living forms exist as potential in every moment. The beings that have marked and shared Knowings of their truer understandings of the moment and continuum are sharing Truths that are truly Truer.

So, if you offer a question or point regarding the work and values of these more Inward, Knowing beings, we can see the actualized living states of those beings in the moment when we open our eyes, minds and hearts to those more Inward states of Knowing. Otherwise, their meanings remain unknown or known only to a limited extent. When we know about the beings, we intellectualize and see them only as we know about them. When we truly Know the beings, we see them in the moment for the values of the Known we Know. As we improve our Knowing of the Known, we more truly see the beings of the Known as real and beings that are living in the moment.

When we do this, we see how the more Knowing beings are working together at various points in the current moment, or in their relationship to the cross section of the continuum. This work and their ways of being are expressed in the moment of our lives, humanity’s on-going history and in the examples of incarnate living these souls of Knowing enter. When they are in embodied form, they become known by their names and the Knowings they share from their positions in the Known.

When we consider Jesus, or Mohammed, or Rumi, Brahma, and others, we can be more considerate when we realize the point within humanity and within the moment that those particular lives are a Known sharing of. As we understand this more, we gain, through their life offerings, a sense and reasoning ability relative to the points that their lives and sharings are about, according to our own current understandings and knowing, or Knowing.

The work of beings sharing the Known provides people living only in the known and unknown with a way to Know the living form of the moment. This is a state of being that is constantly running parallel to the knowing and unknown. These beings from the Known are truly from the Known and come into our moments and lives to share the Knowings of the Known that are living at all times in the moment. What these beings represent can be unknown, known or Known to us, and each of these ways produces a different understanding of the meaning of these beings’ lives.

The beings of the Known are not in conflict with each other. The conflicts come the beings in the knowings and unknowings.

In our Adam/Jesus example, we have someone as Adam who lived in the Knowing but fell into the knowing. This led further out into the unknowing. Then as Jesus, he rose from being the unknown, to the knowing then into the Knowing. He resides in the Known and offers a way to overcome the limitations of the separation that occurs between the unknown, the knowing and Knowing because he was the being who lived, in this model, at One in the highest state Known to this model. Many have attained relationship with the Knowing and many have developed their sense of the Oneness. Each being, each founder of another point in the Known, each realizer of the Known is relating in the moment to an aspect of the Known.

Picture our considered example of the moment as a cross section of life’s current. Visualize the cross section. The areas closest to the center are the ones closest to the Center. Beings that share Knowings from the more centered positions are able to do that because they are dwelling on the points more central to the moment. When people are only able to share knowings about these more centered positions, they are sharing intellectual knowings, not true Knowings that come from the actualized dwelling on those points.

People wonder and discuss what the Truer relevance of Jesus’ death is. It is the shift from the state of knowing to the state of Knowing to the state of the Known itself. As Adam, he was in the Known as a way of being. He is the being of the Known. He is the point within the moment where the Known is a way of being. As Jesus, he reclaimed that way of being in the moment. As Adam, he fell from the Known into the knowing. He then became unknowing of the Known. As Jesus, he came back into the Known he Knew as Adam. And in that moment, that Knowing became connected to the Known again, so that in our moments, we can Know it.

This point is in every moment, but to realize it from the unknown, to the known, to a knowing of the Known, to a Knowing of being at One with the Known, requires a way of living Inward while living in an outward state or world. To do this, we have to let our knowings die away to our sense of Knowing. This is the crucifixion and for Jesus to do this, he had to die for the sins of the entire model that came as a result of his shift from the Known to a lower or more outward the state of knowing. He is the example of the movement from highest state of Knowing to knowing and from knowing back to that at Oneness with Knowing the Known. When we dwell on those points in the moment that his lives as Adam and Jesus represent, we are able to make this shift through the matters that have separated us. He represents that way of being that fell from and recovered to a state of constant eternal awareness.

Everyone and anyone engaging with this way of being, is engaging with that being according to their relative position, or value. It does not matter what you call it, but these lives as Adam and Jesus are names for those ways of being. The names are just an aid to Knowing the Known. The state of being represented as the Known, is where the reason and reasoning of humanity’s purpose is truly Known. And the beings who come into life, living in atonement to that Knowing, become known to our knowings and to the Known as the points in humanity’s reason that they represent.

So is there something symbolic about this? Of course there is. And this position in the moment can be unknown, known and Known. But even symbols represent ways of being and ways of being are the results of some being living that way that is being symbolized. The Known presents a more direct understanding of those symbolic meanings. And Knowing the Known gives us a more direct relationship with the beings themselves.

As to whether Jesus was born in a state of complete selflessness… as Adam he was! As Jesus, he had to overcome matter to reclaim that lost sense of being. And when he did, and was able to hold it even through the most weighty matters of his ridicule, torture, denial, humiliation and the agonizing death he suffered, he was able to reclaim the point of Knowing inside himself and position himself in the moment once again in a way he Knew in the beginning of the model as Adam.

Once this point of realization had become a secure way of being, it became open for us all as it was intended to be in the beginning. But to claim it, we must look through matter and become at one with the Knowing of that inner state of Truth. If we deny that position within ourselves, we will not Know it.

It doesn’t matter what your religion is. This is in every one of us. Some religions make a study and preservation of certain aspects of the Inner Truth, but only the True practitioner experiences them and then it is only according to their truer Knowing of those points of Truth.

So it becomes important to Know these Inner states of being and to recognize them in the moment of your everyday living. Adam, Eve, Jesus, Rumi, Buddha, Krishna… they are existing as points in the moment- beings- ways of being in the moment. Are they so unknown? Do you know them? Do you Know them? Where are you in the Knowing and in the Known?
