fog of frozen forget-me-not
I know ‘the answer’
but each morning
upon awakening
a fog rolls in
a blanket of mystery
covering my nakedness
hurtfully
fog smothers sun
the earth cools forever
with a wandering eye of clarity
falling under a spell
constant glacial melting
and the mindful mind
smothered in mindless deep freeze
an ice age time box
suspended in history
